BALI INDONESIA – Head of Public Relations (Kabidhumas) of the Bali Regional Police Kombes Pol Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto, S.I.K., M.Sc. attending the National Police Public Relations Technical Work Meeting (Rakernis) T.A. 2023, at the Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Hotel, Prov. Bali, Thursday (2/3/2023) at 10.00 WITA.
Present at the activity, Kadivhumas Polri Inspector General Pol Prof. Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, M.Hum., M.Sc., M.M. , Karo and Head of Divhumas Polri and also attended by Kabidhumas and Kasubbidhumas Polda throughout Indonesia.
The Head of the Bali Regional Police Head of Public Relations said that this time’s Rakernis has the theme “Precision Police Public Relations Ready to Oversee the 2024 Election and Securing the 2023 National and International Agenda in the framework of Supporting Increased Productivity for Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation.
“This activity can be used as a momentum in efforts to increase performance professionalism, strengthen commitment and equalize perceptions of the duties and roles of Polri Public Relations, especially in providing a clear picture regarding the potential and anticipation of violations in the implementation of the 2024 Election,” he hoped.
Satake also said that the Rakernis was attended by a number of presenters including the Chair of the Press Council, the Head of the Central PWI Education Sector, the Deputy Head of KIP and the Expert Staff of the National Police Chief for Communications, Mrs. Rustika Herlambang and the Editor of National Media.
The topics discussed were related to monitoring and anticipating incorrect information ahead of the 2024 Election both through social media, electronic and online.
The risk management strategy by involving the right and crucial media is also discussed in order to realize a democratic country system at the election stage running on time, efficiently, safely and effectively and preventing broadcasting that could disrupt the security and smooth running of the election,” said Bayu.
