JAKARTA – Deputy Head (Waka) of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) Commissioner General (Komjen) of Police at Putu Jayan Danu Putra today, Friday (1/9), has officially been promoted to one level higher than his old rank.
The rise of a man with the full name and academic title Drs. Putu Jayan Danu Putra, S.H.,M.Sc. This is based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia (Kepres) Number 65/POLRI/Year 2023 DATE. August 18, 2023.
Putu Jayan, who was the former Bali Regional Police Chief, in November 2020 replaced the previous official Inspector General of Police Petrus Reinhard Golose who held the record for the longest serving Regional Police Chief for four years, since December 12 2016. When he served as Deputy Head of the BSSN, he replaced the previous Deputy Head of the BSSN, namely Komjen Pol Suntana who returned served at Police Headquarters and served as Head of the Police Intelligence and Security Agency (Kabaintelkam). Komjen Pol Suntana, who graduated from AKPOL 1988, has served as Deputy Head of BSSN since March 2023.
A graduate of the Republic of Indonesia Armed Forces Academy (AKABRI) in 1989 who also graduated from the Police Science College (PTIK) in 1996, he is considered to have made many achievements when leading the Bhayangkara Corps on the Island of the Gods. While serving as Bali Police Chief, Police Commissioner General Putu Jayan Danu Putra was successful in the task of securing an international standard event, namely the G20 Summit at the end of 2022.
Previously, the man who started his career in the police with the rank of Second Police Inspector (Ipda) as the First Officer (Pama) of the Bekasi City Police (Polresta) Polda Metro Jaya in 1990, was also successful in suppressing the number of Covid-19 during the pandemic. in a friendly manner with a number of high-ranking officials, pratama, and BSSN staff, along with several invited guests. Followed by the release of Suntana at the Pancasila Field of the BSSN Sawangan Office.
Komjen Pol Putu Jayan Danu Putra’s achievements have received various appreciation from various parties, including from the Indonesian Police Strategic Studies Institute (LEMKAPI) in the form of the 2022 Presisi Award, the ‘Best Police Chief’ Award according to the 2022 Kompolnas Awards, and the 2022 Bali Broadcasting Award (APB).
